Before the largest brewery in the world Anheuser-Busch has been acquired by Inbev, Budweiser was a no-name in the Netherlands. We have plenty of premium beer brands on the Dutch market.
But in order to realize the global growth strategy, we have been hired to increase brand awareness and strengthen the market position of Bud King of Beers. For several years, we have boosted the brand with marketing campaigns to retail, hospitality and consumers.
The marketing campaigns were widely audible on radio stations and visible in shops, bars, and in national advertisements with the theme: 'The American Dream. Have it with Bud.
In addition to a Dutch retail/consumer marketing campaign, experience marketing and promotions have been activated. Like a competition on every four-pack Bud, with which an 'original' Harley Davidson or a motorcycle holiday in the USA could be won. Catering visitors could try their luck with 'Scratch your Bud' scratch cards.
Nice that we were also able to make a valuable contribution to the most valuable beer brand in the world for a number of years. Since 2008 Anheuser-Busch has been taken over by Inbev.
