Founded in 1921 as Nederlandse Meubelsloten Fabriek, Nemef quickly became a leader in both the professional industry and residential market. After becoming part of Emhart Corporation in 1968 and later being acquired by Black & Decker Company in 1989, Nemef joined the ASSA ABLOY Group in 2004 as one of its strong regional brands.
Our journey with Nemef has been marked by a series of transformative rebrands, reflecting various business shifts and international strategies over nearly three decades. Since 2021, we have embraced a forward-thinking brand spirit, revitalizing the logo and integrating the 'Part of Yale' brand endorsement.
Our role in rebranding Nemef has been comprehensive and multifaceted, encompassing strategic branding • masterbrand + product brand identities • crossmedia brand designs • brand [re]positioning concepts • new product launches • diy packagings for retail stores • tv/radio exposure • online campaigns • pos retail marketing • brochures • websites • trade fair stands • branded content • artwork • photography • countless more jobs. Each rebranding phase has not only adapted to evolving market dynamics but also significantly contributed to Nemef's enduring legacy and success.
